    Official public sources only

Every number is downloaded directly from the organization that publishes it: US government agencies (Labor, Commerce, Census, BEA, Energy, Treasury, IRS, FDA, CDC, USDA, SEC, USGS, NOAA, CFTC, FHFA, Army Corps of Engineers), the Federal Reserve, the World Bank, the OECD and Eurostat. Published values are stored as released; unit conversions are disclosed. Anything Skyread calculates (combined measures, shares, comparisons, today's-dollar restatements) is labelled, with its method shown.

    Licensed for business use

Skyread stores only data whose publishers' terms allow commercial use and resale, and every answer carries the source credit those terms require. A few well-known series are tagged Not stored: get it from the source: their publishers do not allow storing or reselling them, so each shows where and how to get it yourself.
